Roles & responsibilities:
Design and development of Perl modules for the ETL layer of a telecommunications service quality management system;
Integration and unit tests of the developed modules with the main ETL product using the provided API.
Required Skills:
In-depth knowledge of perl as a programming language with object-oriented profile;
Comprehensive knowledge of Perl regular expressions;
Knowledge of the ETL concept in complex applications;
Knowledge of the following technologies: XML, SOAP, SSH, HTTP GET/POST, ASN1;
Basic knowledge of SQL and SQLite databases;
Ability to analyze complex problems, creativity, inventive abstract
thinking to design appropriate features on the application or module
level;
Good interpretation of requirements and Implementation in a reusable modular manner;
Ability to write high-performance code using multithreaded approach where applicable;
Knowledge of C++, Perl XS modules, .NET C# is a plus;
Knowledge of source control tools (Rational Clear Case);
Ability to self-learn according to the needs of the current project;
Fluency in English.
