As a Summer employee, while working in Leroy Merlin, I never had repetitive or boring moments. Thanks to an intern rotative system, all employees would have three different or more functions and places to be during the day. This would make it more interesting and never boring. For example, I could start the first part of the morning as cashier, where I would register the products and help the customer check out. The second part of the morning, I would be given the task of going to Return and Refunds counter, I found this to be the hardest and most challenging aspect of my job. I would have to attend impatient and sometimes angry customers, who would complain not always respectfully. With this experience I learnt to remain calm and be a good professional even when someone else looses their calm and is irritated. In Leroy Merlin, I would end the day doing something different, as for example being receptionist over in the Information and Customer Service counter. Where I would have to receive and transfer calls, provide information and answer customers' questions, and also make external and internal announcements on the speaker.
